Became a Beachbody Coach...June 2014
Why? I chose to become a Beachbody coach for a number of reasons. All my life I've been overweight. I have vivid memories of being bigger than my friends my entire life. In 5th grade when others were 75 lbs, I was over 100. It's been a burden my entire life. The reason I never worked to change it was simple. I didn't believe I can. I looked around and saw the rest of my family was overweight or obese also. Even my mother, whom was the thinnest of all her siblings, began to gain weight as she neared her 50's. I figured it was simply genetic. I wasn't meant to be thin and there was nothing I could do about it. When I began to pull that out of my head, I knew I could change. I became a Beachbody coach to help others who felt just like I did. My passion is helping people discover they can do more than they ever thought. I'm not at my goal either so I get to take the journey with you and it's a humbling experience.
First Beachbody Program: Insanity
Past Beachbody Programs: Insanity, Les Mills Combat, Les Mills Pump and PiYo
Current Beachbody Program: Focus T25
Why Beachbody programs? A Beachbody challenge pack provides you with everything you need for success. With a challenge pack you get a 30 day supply of Shakeology "The Healthiest Meal of the Day", an easy to follow nutrition guide, access to the Team Beachbody website and an easy to follow workout guide. There is no guesswork because Beachbody does all the hard stuff for you. Simply follow the nutrition guide, drink Shakeology, insert the DVD's, push play and succeed.
This is me in all my glory. The left pic was taken in June of this year before I started Shakeology. I was bloated, eating horribly and sitting on my booty because it was summer and I didn't have a job. The left was merely 30 days later. Shakeology helped me through my IBS troubles, energized me, and helped kick my sugar cravings. This was before I started any workout programs so the changes (though small) were amazing.
I'm currently in my first month of T25. I do not own a scale so I have no idea how much I weight, but I cannot wait to take progress pics in about two weeks and share them with you!
